Who We Are

@ CPSP2023

Our vision and mission is to better the lives of cancer patients from diagnoses to treatments to recovery and survivorship.

Our Core Values & Work

  • Serve and walk with cancer patients in their journeys toward wellness and survivorship

  • Advance cancer recovery by providing community-support programs and sharing information

  • Inspire survivors to be thrivers, so they may better the lives of others—locally, nationally and globally

What We’ve Achieved Since November 2023

  • Published a charter newsletter for cancer patients and survivors—with primary distribution location at Boston’s BIDMC’s Cancer Clinic.

  • Published the spring / summer issue of The Ginkgo Leaf, the official newsletter of CPSP2023; it is web-based and PDF available to all subscribers.

  • Established a base for the Vendors Program: secured 15% discount rates from three vendors for all cancer patients, ranging from organic meats to acupuncture treatments to replacement glasses; plus, free tai chi classes for immunotherapy patients.

  • Established a base for the Buddies Program: a small cadre of sojourner buddies to help individuals who are undergoing treatments, such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy or surgery.

The ginkgo leaf is a symbol of hope, strength and resilience—the focal point of every cancer patient and survivor’s journey.
